This past week students worked on finishing up their instruments. Many of them completed them and have posted a video in Iris. Please check them out :)

We have also begun looking at the building process, specifically the design thinking model. We have been focusing on the first step, which is empathy.

Math:

We have been looking at the attributes of 2D and 3D shapes, as well as begin learning about perimeter.

Literacy:

Students are finishing up their fractured fairy tales.


Valentines Day:

We will have a little celebration in class near the end of the day on February, 12th. to hand out Valentines (if your child would like to, they do not have to) and perhaps do a craft/activity. Here is a list of students in our class:
